Hello, I'm Danni.
I am a certified Suzuki guitar teacher based in Stockholm, Sweden, where I teach children and families through the Suzuki Method. I teach classical guitar with a focus on the Suzuki Method at Nacka Music School and also offer individual Suzuki guitar lessons in Stockholm and online, welcoming students both locally and internationally.
I believe that every child can develop musical ability in a positive and encouraging environment. My teaching focuses not only on learning the guitar, but also on building confidence, concentration, independence and a lifelong love of music. Close cooperation with parents is an essential part of both the Suzuki philosophy and my teaching.
My musical education has taken place in Sweden and internationally. I have studied classical guitar with distinguished teachers, including studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and Mälardalen University. I am a member of the European Suzuki Association (ESA) and continue my professional development through the international Suzuki Guitar Teacher Training Programme. I am currently completing Level 4 of 5 under the guidance of MaryLou Roberts (USA).
Alongside individual lessons, I regularly teach group classes and workshops, working with children and families at different stages of their musical journey. I strive to create a warm, supportive learning environment where every child can develop confidence, musicality and a lifelong love of music.
What Parents Say
"Our guitar journey began while our family was living in Denmark. From the very beginning, the Suzuki Method felt like a natural choice because it actively involves the parent as well. Music quickly became part of our everyday life, and the joy of making music together made it much easier to stay motivated for daily practice. Even during the pandemic, online lessons worked exceptionally well, and today our daughter continues to develop through online instruction. It has been a joy to watch the wonderful relationship that has grown between our daughter and Danni, as well as to see her love of music continue to flourish."
