The Suzuki Method was developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki in Japan and is based on the belief that every child can develop musical ability in the right environment.
Just as children learn to speak their mother tongue through listening, repetition, encouragement and the support of their family, they can also learn music in a natural and joyful way.
Learning Through Encouragement
At the heart of the Suzuki Method is the belief that children learn best when they feel encouraged, supported and successful. Lessons focus not only on musical development but also on building confidence, concentration, perseverance and the joy of making music.
Parents as Partners
Parents play an important role in every lesson and support their child through daily practice at home. Together, teacher and family create a positive learning environment where each child can develop at their own pace.
Learning Together
Group lessons, concerts and workshops are an important part of the Suzuki Method. Children learn from one another, gain motivation and build friendships through shared musical experiences.
Because Suzuki students around the world learn the same international repertoire, they can also participate in workshops and events across countries and connect through music.
